Lisa
received her legal education at Loyola Law School and was admitted
to practice law in California in 1992. A former New York resident,
she attended State University of New York, graduating in 1983.
She specializes in probate and conservatorships. She
is a recognized children's advocate and has lectured on legal
issues affecting children to numerous civic and community organizations.
Lisa
loves
being a lawyer because she has the privilege of helping people
with important, sometimes overwhelming, problems. "Helping
others," she says, "is the best part of my job."
Those of us who know her will tell you she repeats her thanks
for it every day.
"I
created Legacy Mediation to provide an affordable, accessible
and user friendly forum to assist people in complying with the
unwavering policy of Los Angeles Superior Court (Downtown-Central)
Probate Departments 5 and 11 that every probate, conservatorship
and trust dispute must be mediated at least once before trial."
In
selecting the site for my new law office, I looked for, and found,
the following amenities:
No
stairs or elevators. Elderly people, persons in wheelchairs, with
walkers, or experiencing other mobility problems will appreciate
how accessible the office is from the parking lot.
Lots
of free parking. In the back of the building, on the street in
front and even at Montrose Park. Just bring enough money for lunch.
Speaking
of lunch...I am walking distance to Montrose Shopping Park. We
have many wonderful restaurants close by including Mexican, Italian
and Continental.
A
place to walk and talk outside the building. My "office backyard"
is a beautiful canyon in a quiet neighborhood, and of course,
Montrose Park. Sometimes you need a little fresh air in order
to think clearly.
But
wait there's more...
Whether
the name of the game is "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire"
or "Family Feud" - I charge $270.00 an hour (2 hour
minimum) or a sliding scale, if warranted. There are no add-ons
and no administrative fees.
I
am looking forward to hearing from you.
